People’s Action for Inclusive Development (PAfID), formerly known as Light for the World Cambodia, is a non-government organization (NGO). After 20 years of working through partners with a focus on Community Based Inclusive Development, we established an office in Wat Sarawan, a pagoda in the center of Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2016.
Following numerous discussions with our highly committed team on the ground, with our partners (both local and internationally) and key international and local resource people, PAfID transitioned into a local organization. We are more sure than ever that now is the right time for this. We offer Southern-led expertise and solutions in the inclusive development landscape thus challenging the more traditional and mainstream development paradigm. Through providing local solutions to local problems, we aim to continue our work and innovation in inclusive development, both in Cambodia and internationally.
PAfID continues to expand its programmatic work in Cambodia and internationally on inclusion issues. We have grown our team adding expertise to develop our strategy and priorities.
