People’s Action for Inclusive Development (PAfID) is seeking a highly motivated, professional candidate to join our growing dynamic team for the position of Communication Intern. Below is the detail information about the position.

Overall Objective

The communications intern will support in updating and managing the communications presence and knowledge of the organization. This will include media content drafting and posting, regular updating and maintaining the website and other platforms. The Communications Intern must ensure that all tasks are delivered accordingly, professionally and in a timely manner.

Duties

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of communications plan.
  • Support in managing and maintaining all PAfID’s platforms including Facebook, website etc.
  • Ensure that all digital media platforms are in line with PAfID’s branding and communication guideline.
  • Supporting the production promotional materials for the organization including developing case studies.
  • Support in coordinating and developing creative social media content, and other materials such as posters, videos, audio and other multimedia formats.
  • Translating some communications materials from English to Khmer and vice versa.
  • Maintain a digital library and make it lively and friendly for users.
  • Supporting other activities for any ad hoc project within the capacity to do so.
  • Supporting taking quality photos for relevant projects and events.

Requirements

  • Essential
    • Recent graduate with a bachelor in communications, journalism, digital media studies or equivalent
    • Experienced in communication work, social media management, graphic design, website
    • Able to communicate effectively when working with the team, external stakeholders and independently
  • Desirable (not essential)
    • Knowledge of accessible and inclusive social medial practice
    • Knowledge of IT packages
    • Experience working in disability context
