With support from the Australian Government, PAfID and CARE Cambodia recently organised a dynamic learning exchange, bringing together key stakeholders from Ratanakiri Province and Kampong Cham Province to learn and share provincial best practices on OPD’s role, Disability and GBV mechanisms reflecting on both policy and practice.
Participants ranging from Provincial Coordination Committees (PCC), Provincial Disability Action Councils (PDAC), Gender Based Violence (GBV) working groups, to Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and NGO partners came together to share their practical experiences on disability inclusion, GBV response, provincial planning, budgeting, and reporting, aligned with the National Disability Strategic Plan (2024–2028).
Through these activities the team worked on strengthening interprovincial networks and promoting inclusive governance and community development. It was more than just a learning event; it was about building lasting bonds to ensure development truly reaches everyone!
