On 18–19 June 2026, PAfID conducted a Refresher Training for Disability Inclusion Promoters (DIPs). The training brought together 28 participants from eight provinces, including DIPs, personal assistants, women with disabilities networks, and indigenous groups, to reflect on achievements, strengthen skills, and deepen their commitment to promoting disability inclusion in their communities.
Through interactive learning, peer exchange, and practical field exposure, participants enhanced their knowledge and skills in disability inclusion, advocacy and lobbying, inclusive commune investment planning, and accessibility audits.
PAfID is proud to continue supporting persons with disabilities as leaders and agents of change, working together to build more inclusive and accessible communities for all.
It was inspiring to hear about the positive impacts that our DIPs have made in the lives of persons with disabilities and their communities through their dedicated work and leadership.
Our DIP training has been supported from multiple sources, including PAFID, ACCESS 2, Oxfam, and CARE.
