In line with UNCRPD’s commitment to Rights related to Livelihood for Person with Disabilities, PAfID is implementing Graduation Based Social Protection Program (GBSP) funded by UNDP. Aiming to lift some of the poorest people out of poverty, the program offers cash or asset packages to kick start people’s livelihood opportunities. We are working in five provinces all severely affected by landmines which is one of the program criteria. The families are identified through close collaboration between the communities, local authorities (commune council, agriculture office) and our local focal points. Photos here are from today’s asset transfer in Siem Reap province.
